PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change the carrying direction of a delivered print with simple configuration. SOLUTION: The print carrier comprises a first stage 21 to receive a print 20 discharged by a pair of paper delivery rollers 17, and a second stage 22 to carry the print 20 in the second direction different from the paper delivery direction (the first direction). A push-out mechanism which pushes out the print in the second direction and presses an end of the print 20 against a pair of carrying rollers 31 in the second stage 22 is provided in the first stage 21. The push-out mechanism consists of a push-out unit 37 with a plurality of claws erected thereon, and a driving unit 46 to pull the push-out unit. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
