The suspension system (10) for a twin-walled vacuum flask (12) has a supporting frame (14) with a tubular portion (38) that extends at least partly into the flask's upper opening (32), while fixings (44) on (38) co-operate with the inside of (12). The central aperture (48) of (38) is filled by the stopper (50) used to close (12), and the gap between (38) and diverging neck of the container is filled by a sleeve (70).
