FIBERGLASS MAT FEEDER FOR LEAD ACID STORAGE BATTERY, AND FEEDING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a fiberglass mat feeder for lead acid storage battery in which the fiberglass mat can be supplied stably one by one. SOLUTION: The feeder comprises a fiberglass mat stocker 2 in which a great number of sheets of fiberglass mats 1 are laminated in vertical direction, a slider 3 which is arranged at the lower part of this stocker 2 and by making a reciprocating movement of forward and backward direction, transports the fiberglass mat 1 of the lowermost layer from the stocker 2 to the supply direction, and a gate 4 which is arranged adjacent to the fiberglass mat supply side of the stocker 2. A hair implanted layer 5 implanted inclined in supply direction of the fiberglass mat 1 is fixed to the upper surface of the slider 3 so that it may contact the lower face of the fiberglass mat 1 in the stocker 2. A gate roller 6 which rotates in reverse direction to the supply direction of the fiberglass mat 1 is arranged at the gate 4. A flocked layer 7 implanted inclined in reverse direction to the supply direction of the fiberglass mat 1 is fixed at the circumference of the gate roller 6. The rate roller 6 is arranged so that the surface of the flocked layer 7 of the circumference may contact the upper face of the fiber glass mat 1. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
