<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor capable of enhancing convenience in the operation for attaching a copy check pattern. <P>SOLUTION: With regard to a print object document, information of a name imparted by a user is acquired and a decision is made whether composition of a copy check pattern is required for that document or not based on the fact whether at least a part of the name thus acquired matches a predetermined name or not.
