PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve rigidity and strength against expansion of flanges when a metal wire body is winded around a reel for a metal wire body having the flanges made of steel sheets. SOLUTION: The flange 2 of the reel is provided with a integral reinforcement part comprising a plurality of side surface reinforcement parts 4a and a core hole periphery reinforcement parts 4b. The width in the flange circumferential direction of the side surface reinforcement part 4a is made larger on the reel center side and the height expanding to the flange outer surface side is made larger on the reel center side. A hollow ring-shaped flange periphery reinforcement part 8 is formed at the periphery of the flange 2.
