<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the bonding strength between a head shell part and a resin member. <P>SOLUTION: The golf club head 1 includes the head shell part M composed of a metallic material and provided with an opening part O1 and the resin member FR disposed at the opening part O1 and composed of fiber reinforced resin for closing the opening part O1, and is provided with a hollow part in the inside. In the head shell part M, at least one slit 8 extended along the opening part O1 and passing through the hollow part is provided on at least a part of the periphery of the opening part O1. The resin member FR covers the opening part O1 and is formed by using at least one locking prepreg 12 whose end edge enters the slit 8 from one side of the outer surface or inner surface of the head shell part M, exits from the other side and is extended along the surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
