PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the newest information of a desired data broadcasting program to be read simply. SOLUTION: A digital broadcasting receiver includes a tuner 11 which receives data broadcasting; a storage unit 40 which stores document information and document configuration regarding the data broadcasting program of an object to be updated and notified in correlation; an updating and notifying object document confirming unit 21 for confirming whether there is a content including the document information stored in the storage unit 40 in the data broadcasting received at present by the tuner 11; a document updating judging unit 22 for judging that the data updating is performed if the layout is the same and real data is different by comparing the document configuration of the content with the corresponding document configuration stored in the storage unit 40 when there is the content including the document information, and updating the corresponding document configuration stored in the storage unit 40 based on the document configuration of the compared content; and an updating notifying unit 23 for outputting the message of the effect to an output unit 3 when judged that the data updating is performed.
