CATHETER FOR REMOVING AND SUCKING FOREIGN MATTER INSIDE BLOOD VESSEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catheter for removing and sucking foreign matters inside a blood vessel, capable of stripping an embolic material inside the blood vessel from the blood vessel without damaging the blood vessel and recovering the stripped foreign matter.

SOLUTION: The catheter 1 for removing and sucking the foreign matters inside the blood vessel comprises a wire-like member 3 provided with a loop part 31 for removing the foreign matter inside the blood vessel and a catheter tube 2 provided with a lumen 22 in the inside thereof, to which a suction means for sucking the inside of the lumen 22 can be connected. The surface of the loop part 31 is to be provided with lubricity when wetted. Further, the catheter 1 is provided with an operation part 5 capable of housing the wire-like member 3 for projecting the loop part 31 from the tip of the catheter tube 2 and moving it to the front and back in the axial direction of the catheter tube in the state of projecting it.
