摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved supernatant water discharge device in a batch-wise disposal method by activated sludge, a method used when a relatively high functional water disposal is required in small-scale facilities in sewage disposal facilities of an activated sludge type. <P>SOLUTION: The supernatant water discharge device in the batch-wise activated sludge method for sewage disposal is characterized in that the supernatant water of a treating vessel (5) varying in a water level can be sucked and discharged through a sucking pipe I (3) which, as shown in Figure, is supported by itself in water from the bottom of a batch-wise disposal vessel in the sewage disposal facilities to the vicinity of an upper-limit water-level and which possesses sideways a discharge opening from the intermediate, through a combination device into which a sheath pipe (1) with one end closed and the other end fitted with a float (2) is inserted in the upper end of the sucking pipe, and through a sucking device (6).
