PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To operate transportation of a treatment tool in a forceps channel in a short time with a simple structure and to make it possible to facilitate a technique. SOLUTION: An endoscope 1 is equipped with an insertion section 11 to be inserted in a body cavity, an operation section 14 for operating the insertion section 11, a first channel of which the one end is a pointed head aperture section 12a to be open at a pointed head of the insertion section 11 and the other end is connected to a forceps hole 18 to be open in the vicinity of the operation section 14, and the treatment tool 20 which is inserted in the first channel. The endoscope further includes a second channel which is provided from the vicinity of the forceps hole 18 to the pointed head of the insertion section 11, an operation wire which is inserted from a proximal end of the second channel and folded back at the pointed head of the insertion section 11 to be inserted into the first channel, an engagement member which is engaged to the vicinity of the pointed head of the treatment tool 20 provided at the pointed head of the operation wire and a movement of the treatment tool controlling section which is provided at the proximal end of the operation wire.
