<p>A method for removing swarf from cutting fluid has the fluid and swarf passed into a settling tank via a coarse filter. The bottom of the settling tank has a scraper system which collects settled fine swarf and dust and pushes it into a collecting aperture to drop onto a conveyor system which takes the swarf for disposal/recycling. The aperture can be an angled slit.</p> |
