<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a cycle time by recognizing more efficiently a part held by a mounting head. <P>SOLUTION: Imaging units 20, 21 each having a movable table 25 movable in an X-axis direction are provided between a part supply unit 4 of a surface mounting machine and a printed circuit board 3. Cameras 26a, 26b each containing a line sensor are mounted upward and moved rotatably around an optical axis in the movable table 25. During a packaging operation, a head unit 6 is linearly moved from a part sucking position to an initial part mounting position. On the other hand, prior to the conveying of this part, the movable table 25 is disposed under a part conveying passage, and the cameras 26a, 26b are controlled to be rotatably driven so that the element train of the line sensor is crossed perpendicularly to the part conveying passage. Thus, after the part is sucked, the head unit 6 passes on the movable table 25, thereby imaging the sucked parts by the respective cameras 26a, 26b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
