PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a twin clutch type transmission capable of being embodied in a small and lightweight construction by shortening the span between the input shaft and the output shaft or reducing the number of gears. SOLUTION: The twin clutch type transmission is equipped with a first 11 and a second input shaft 12 coupled with an input element through a first C1 and a second clutch C2, respectively, and arranged coaxially, an auxiliary transmitting shaft 20 installed parallel with the first 11 and second input shafts 12, and a plurality of gear couples installed between the first 11 and second input shafts 12 and the auxiliary transmitting shaft 20 and is structure so that the required gear ratio is generated by engaging one of the clutches C1 and C2 selectively while the other clutch is disengaged and by allowing the input shaft coupled with the clutch in engagement and the auxiliary transmitting shaft to move interlocking through meshing of the required gear couple, wherein the clutches C1 and C2 have different input paths from the input element, and the primary ratios of the two input paths are set to different values from each other.
