PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for three-dimensionally imaging the two-dimensional image information obtained by a medical ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus. SOLUTION: Problems on the easy-operable method and device for imaging are solved by preparing a computer separately from the medical ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus to secure the place for storing and calculating standard coordinate system coordinates, address signals and images in the CPU, adding a detection part for highly precisely measuring the position or the quantity of movement of an electronic scanning type linear array probe, converting the signals from the detection part to two-dimensional coordinate values, and combining a tomographic image from the medical ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus as a function of the coordinate values for each address signal to generate a three-dimensional image.
