PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To heighten rigidity of a main frame with good balance, and rigidity of a coupling portion of the main frame and a head pipe. SOLUTION: In this vehicle body frame structure, a pair of right and left main frames 7 extend backward from a head pipe 6. At least one part of each main frame 7 comprises an frame upper stage 66 and a frame lower stage 68 having a closed sectional structure; and an outer plate 98 and an inner plate 99 installed on both sides of the frame upper stage 66 and the frame lower stage 68 across them, and integrally joined with the frame upper stage 66 and the frame lower stage 68.
