PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid the cutting of a tow rope 3 by preventing the tow rope 3 from coming into contact with a tow rope feeding outlet corner section 12, and preventing a stress concentration from occurring on the tow rope 3 when the tow rope which is towed by an airplane is housed. SOLUTION: When the tow rope 3 is fed out from the airplane, and the tow rope 3 presses an extension member 8, a frictional heat is generated on the extension member 8. Since a shape memory alloy 9 is embedded in the extension member 8, the frictional heat is transmitted to the shape memory alloy 9, and thus, the extension member 8 is stretched. By the stretching of the extension member 8, the tow rope 3 is avoided from coming into contact with the tow rope feeding outlet corner section 12. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
