1299207 Earth marker mechanism INTERNATIONAL HARVESTER CO 23 Jan 1970 [31 Jan 1969] 3309/70 Headings A1B and AID Markers 18, 19, are pivoted at 21 on the left and right-hand sides of the frame 14 of an implement in the form of a grain drill 13. A lever 32 is pivoted to the frame 14 at 31 for transverse swinging movement, and a bar 29 lies slideably through a ring 33 at the end of the lever 32, the bar 29 having rings 27, 28 at either end, forming stops to limit the sliding movement of the bar through the ring 33. Cable means 24, 25, extend from the rings 27, 28, to the earth markers 18, 19, so that the markers can be swung into and out of operative position alternately, the sliding motion of the bar 29 through the ring 33 allowing limited movement of the markers independent of the lever 32. Means for power operating the lever 32 in the form of hydraulic cylinder 38 are mounted on the frame at pivot 39, fluid being supplied to the cylinder 38 from the electro-hydraulic pump 35. |
