PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a camera compact by effectively using a lens unit mounting recess in the lens-replaceable type camera. SOLUTION: A camera body 10 is of a two-folded folding type, and when the right and left parts 11 and 12 are opened, a lens-mounting recess 13 provided in the inside of a folding hinge is exposed for inserting a connection part 22 of a lens unit 20 in the recess 13. In addition, a finder of the camera body, a flash device, LCD and the like are formed projectable, and a space generated by the projections may be set as the lens unit mounting recess 13.
