PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a marine structure carrying out wave dissipating action and increasing the amount of dissolved oxygen in seawater to promote the inhabitation of marine organisms. SOLUTION: In the marine structure 1 in which a plurality of hanging plates 2 used as wave dissipating bodies are arranged at spaces at the front face of an impermeable bank 1a, the inside of the hanging plate is formed into a cavity and to form a hollow part 3.
