Due to the small size of a mobile device (e.g. mobile telephone, PDA etc) screen, it can be difficult to move around menus. The application describes a 3D version of a menu (e.g. a cube) where the cube can be rotated to show different faces of the cube which contain different menus and/or submenus. An example gives a "parent" cube made up of smaller "child" cubes. When one of these smaller "child" cubes is selected it "pops out" of the main cube and can be rotated to view different options within the "child" cube. The cube can be rotated by buttons located on the device or by direct contact with a touch screen.
