PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door opening/closing mechanism requiring a small installation space for a storage section such as a storage body and having a smart appearance. SOLUTION: The door opening/closing mechanism 6 primarily comprises an upper support link 7 and a lower support link 8 as a moving means and a coil spring 15 as an urging means. The upper support link 7 and the lower support link 8 constitute a parallel support link, and are stretched between the inner face of a side plate 5 of the storage body 2 and a door mounting plate 10 of a door 3. The coil spring 15 is stretched between the door mounting plate 10 and the lower support link 8, and both ends are turnably secured with pins 16a and 16b. As described above, because the coil spring 15 is secured on the rear face side of the door 3, the storage body 2 itself requires a smaller installation space. Because the coil spring 15 is positioned in the rear face side of the door 3 irrespective of the position of the door 3, a trim appearance is realized by making it invisible from the front face side in use.
