PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxygen concentrator usable in both cases where a patient is at home and/or goes out (including moving in a car and the like). SOLUTION: This oxygen concentrator is provided with a compressing means compressing air taken from an air intake port, an adsorbing means adsorbing predetermined components except for oxygen in the compressed air in an adsorbing cylinder and removing them from the compressed air, and a product tank for accumulating concentrated oxygen formed by removing the predetermined components; and is operated by detachable batteries. The compressing means has a structure having a pressurizing function and a decompressing function and is so constituted that, when it is driven by the batteries and a concentrated oxygen velocity (L/min.) is a predetermined value or more, performs respiration synchronization control.
