ELECTRONIC CIRCUIT BOARD CONNECTION DEVICE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce circuit noise and transfer signals at high speed in an electronic circuit board connection device where the arrangement of circuits can be flexibly changed by use of a rear panel I/O board.

SOLUTION: Plug connectors P3-P5 of a back plane 10 have provided on their respective backs shrouds rP3-rP5 for electrical connection to the connectors P3-P5. Connectors of a second rear panel I/O board 21 serving also as multiple slots are inserted into the shrouds rP3-rP5. The second I/O board 21 is disposed on and parallel to the back of the back plane 10, with the connectors of the second I/O board 21 inserted into the shrouds rP3-rP5 disposed on the back as shown in the figure.
