PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small antenna whose gain decrease and variation in directivity are prevented, which is wideband and whose frequency fluctuation is small. SOLUTION: In an antenna element in which a radiation electrode and a power feeding electrode are provided in an insulating substrate, the radiation electrode consists of a first radiation electrode that is spiral and a second radiation electrode which has a function to electrically connect the first radiation electrode and the power feeding electrode, and whose shape is linear, folded, spiral or a combination of these for a part or whole of it.
