TURBINE AIR FOIL AND INLET ARRANGEMENT METHOD FOR COOLING CIRCUIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a micro circuit cooling device 22 using a novel and effective method of cooling walls 28, 30 which are exposed to high temperature environment and required to be cooled.

SOLUTION: This turbine air foil 26 comprises a plurality of cooling circuits 22 embedded in a positive pressure side wall 28 and in a negative pressure side wall 30 and a first and second flow paths. The first flow path supplies cooling fluid only to the cooling circuit 22 embedded in the positive pressure side wall 28 while the second flow path supplies cooling fluid only to the cooling circuit 22 embedded in the negative pressure side wall 30.
