MULTICARRIER TRANSMITTER, MULTICARRIER RECEIVER, AND MULTICARRIER TRANSMITTING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an error rate characteristic by retransmission upon multicarrier communication. SOLUTION: A sequence converter 104 replaces the upper bits with lower bits, upper bits at which errors hardly occur and lower bits at which errors easily occur that are used by a multi-value modulation part 105, for every retransmission. In the multi-value modulation part 105, a multi-value modulation is performed by using the upper bits and the lower bits that are replaced for each retransmission. A symbol after the multi-value modulation is interleaved with different interleave patterns for each retransmission and transmitted by using multicarriers via a spreading part 108 and an OFDM transmission part 109.
