<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for managing doors, by which key management is easy, fraudulent behavior can be prevented or can be promptly coped with that, and a system for managing doors and an automatic vending machine. <P>SOLUTION: When a cellular phone 1 approaches, the automatic vending machine 2 reads approval information recorded in a non-contact IC chip 4 provided in the mobile phone 1. The automatic vending machine 2 compares the read approval information with the approval information stored in the storage device provided in the automatic vending machine 2. The automatic vending machine 2 unlocks the electronic lock, when the read approval information agrees with the information to approve unlocking the automatic vending machine 2. While, the approval information recorded in the non-contact IC chip 4 provided in the cellular phone 1 is set and registered by a management center 3 via a first cellular phone net N1.
