PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating treatment instrument with improved treatment efficiency by optimizing the distribution of temperature of a subject to be heated/treated. SOLUTION: The heating treatment instrument 4 comprises a pair of jaws 24 and 26 to be opened/closed to each other. The jaws 24 and 26 have treatment faces 62 and 86 respectively, and a heating member 64 to generate heat is mounted at least one treatment face 62 of the pair of treatment faces 62 and 86. A heat transfer member 66 to transfer the heat of the heating member 64 in the cross direction of the jaw 24 is mounted near the heating member 64 and on the treatment face 62 side of the jaw 24.
