The invention relates to medical engineering. The inventive powder inhalator comprises a body provided with a protective cover having an air inlet and an aerosol outlet connected to an air duct which is provided with accelerating channels connected to a dispergator, a powder container and a dosing unit embodied in the form a movable plate provided with a measuring orifice for supplying a powder dose to the accelerating channel. Said movable plate of the dosing unit is provided with an additional measuring orifice which is similar with the first orifice, arranged at the same distance from the dosing unit axis of rotation and is shifted with respect to the fist orifice at an angle of 90 DEG in such a way that, during the rotation of the dosing unit, each measuring orifice is alternately placed under the hole of the powder container or in one of accelerating channels each of which is divided by a partition which extends from one of the walls at the outlet thereof, is tightly adjacent to the movable plate of the dosing unit and passes above the measuring orifice towards two channels in such a way that one channel is connected to the dispergator and the other to the first channel through the measuring orifice.
