PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication device to be used for a vending machine facilitated in purchase of commodities by bringing only an IC card. SOLUTION: A transmission power control unit 43 is provided to be connected to a control unit 41 of a main body unit 23 to control transmission power to be output from a transmission unit 39 of the main body unit 23. The transmission power control unit 43 transmits the predetermined signal to a plurality of IC cards 29 from the transmission unit 39 through an antenna 38, and thereafter, the transmission power control unit 43 controls intensity of the transmission power to be output from the transmission unit 39 so that the predetermined communication is performed between the only one IC card 29.
