PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting metal fitting for a floor plate material, with which floor plate materials can be securely set on a floor joist by more firmly connecting the plate materials, and construction can be smoothly carried out. SOLUTION: The connecting metal fitting 21 for a floor plate materials 1 is used to connect mutual floor plate materials 1 to be set on floor joists 13. More specifically, the connecting metal fitting is equipped with a lower part engaging piece 22 which is engaged with a rail part 15 by being inserted into the rail part 15 arranged on the floor joists 13 and being rotated within the rail part 15, a connecting part 23 which is risen on the upper edge part of the lower part engaging piece 22 and projects above the rail part 15, and an upper part engaging piece 24 which has a projecting part 25 provided to the upper end of the connecting part 23 and fitted in each groove part 8 formed on the side surfaces of both the floor plate members 1 respectively. The lower part engaging piece 22 has a first insertion hole 221a formed for allowing a screw B to be fixed to the bottom part 15b of the rail part 15 to be inserted therethrough.
