PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tactile display and a tactile display system in which desired display pins can be surely held on display positions and basic positions by simple structure. SOLUTION: The tactile display comprises: a display part 2 having a display surface 24 and a plurality of display pins 23 having contact parts 27 on their tops and formed on the display surface 24 so as to be moved; and a holding means capable of selectively holding the plurality of display pins 23 on display positions projected from the display surface 24 and basic positions where the display pins 23 are not projected and provided with a lock sheet 25. Each display pin 23 has a 3rd projected part 233 and a recessed part 234. When the lock sheet 25 is engaged with the 3rd projected part 233 on the display position, the display pin 23 is held so as not be moved in the vertical direction, and when the lock sheet 25 is disengaged, the holding of the display pin 23 on the display position is released. When the lock sheet 25 is engaged with the recessed part 234 on the basic position, the display pin 23 is held so as to be moved downward. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
