<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a plurality of points of a human body such as fingertips by using an adjacent position input device. <P>SOLUTION: The adjacent position input device 50 has a plurality of antennas 1x, 1y arranged in a lattice-like state. High-frequency AC voltage is applied to the antennas 1x, 1y from an oscillation circuit 3. Signals from the antennas 1x, 1y are processed in a signal processing circuit 15. Connection of the antennas 1x, 1y with the signal processing circuit 15 is sequentially switched by selective switches 4 having selective switch elements 4a. A CPU sends selection signals of the antennas 1x, 1y to the selective switches 4. The CPU calculates an adjacent position of the human body based on the signals from the signal processing circuit 15. In addition, the CPU commands the selective switches 4 to apply the AC voltage of the oscillation circuit 3 only to the selected antennas 1x, 1y. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
