A shaving razor including a handle (12) and three blade units (14, 16, 18) each connected to the handle by a respective amounting structure that provides a pivotal connection of said blade unit to said mounting structure (20) about a pivot axis (60) that is transverse to the cutting edge, and also provides controlled up and down movement of said blade unit thereby permitting each said blade unit to conform to the contour of a surface being shaved. The handle has an index finger indent (24) on a top surface (71), and thumb indent (76) on the bottom surface (72), and is shaped to match the curvature of a user's hand.
