PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trailing arm supporting device capable of enhancing the anti-lift performance, enhancing the ride quality during the braking, and maintaining high rigidity at the same time by locating a front end supporting part of a trailing arm on the higher side. SOLUTION: The trailing arm supporting device 22 comprising an upper bracket 23 to support a rocking shaft 32 of a trailing arm 21, a base bracket 24 fixed to lower portions of a floor frame 2 and a side sill 5, and a lower bracket 25 is placed in a space surrounded by a side surface 2a on the vehicular outer side of the floor frame 2 and a side surface 5a of the side sill 5. The rocking shaft can be located at a high position thereby, the anti-lift property is enhanced, and the ride quality during the braking can be enhanced thereby. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
