COMPOSITION AND USE OF THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composition excellent in taste and stability and useful as functional food and to provide the use of the composition.

SOLUTION: The composition contains a black tea (long time aged tea under fermentation with a fungus belonging to the Aspergillus or Rhizopus) extract and dietary fiber. The black tea extract is extracted in water or hot water. The dietary fiber is at least one kind selected from dextrin, cellulose and starch. The composition contains 5-300 pts. wt. of the dietary fiber based on 100 pts. wt. of the black extract.
