PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the visual sense of even a person with visual field contraction having central scotoma without imposing a burden thereon.

SOLUTION: This optical aid 1 for the person with the visual field contraction is provided with a display part 101 projecting an image on a visual sense deteriorated site of the person with the visual field contraction obtained based on the evaluation result of the visual field of the person with the visual field contraction, and image information projected to the display part 101 has a visual sense reinforcing function. A display area A of the display part 101 is disposed in a region corresponding to the visual sense deteriorated side of the person with the visual field contraction in the emmetropic state.
