<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop/provide a construction method for stone steps, which prevents step stones from being displaced from one another by earthquakes etc. <P>SOLUTION: In this construction method for the stone steps to be constructed on the periphery of a pond etc., when stone steps with fifteen steps are provided as one example of the stone steps, a waterproof sheet 1 is laid; foundation crushed stones 2 are provided on the waterproof sheet in a predetermined thickness; a body-filling concrete layer 3, which is inclined at an arbitrary angle, is formed in the upper part of the foundation crushed stones; an inclined plane Xa, whose top surface is flat and whose undersurface is partially adapted to an inclined plane X of the body-filling concrete layer, is formed on the concrete layer; the step stones 4, which each have engaging notches, are formed on the rear side of the top surface and the front side of the undersurface, respectively; the notch 4a on the rear side of the top surface of the step stone is engaged with the upper adjacent step stone 4'; and the notch 4b on the front side of the undersurface of the step stone is engaged with the lower adjacent step stone 4". <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
