PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for efficiently giving a dose of ophthalmic solutions by spraying. SOLUTION: The ophthalmic solutions contain ophthalmologically allowable liquid, and further contain an ophthalmologic liquid compound containing substance having ophthalmologic activity at need. The compound has viscosity ranging from 10<SP>-3</SP>to 1.0 Pa×s and a specific resistance lower than 10<SP>4</SP>Ωcm. A jet of the compound is released from a spray nozzle 12 positioned adjacent to a piezoelectric transducer or an electromagnetic transducer 7 to the eyes. The jet forms a stream composed of uncharged liquid drops equally spaced and uniform in size. After that, the stream composed of the uncharged liquid drops is guided through a charging electrode for generating electric charges in the respective liquid drops in the stream. The thus charged liquid drops are caused to release the respective electric charges by grounding action due to contact with the eyes, whereby the liquid drops can be accurately applied to the eyes.
