PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus which is adaptive to change of an imaging range during zooming and enables a user to confirm the imaging range when photographing himself or herself with a simple structure. SOLUTION: The viewing angleθof a digital camera 10 is set toθ1 and the photographic range E is set to E1. A moving member 72 is arranged at a position P1 where the recognition angleαof a light source 74 isα1. Further, the recognition angleα1 is set nearly equal to the viewing angleθ1. When the user inputs a telephoto zooming indication with a zoom key 26, the viewing angle of an imaging lens 14 becomes small and the moving member 72 is moved to an inner side of a passage 70 in accordance with the input. If the viewing angle of the imaging lens 14 varies toθ2, the moving member 72 is arranged at a position P2 where the recognition angle is nearly equal to the viewing angleθ2.
