PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transportation mechanism for a vertical type game machine for improving the workability of transportation work. SOLUTION: The transportation mechanism is provided on the lower part of an outer frame 10 for closing and holding a game machine main body in a vertical erected attitude. The transportation mechanism comprises support brackets 120 for supporting wheels 130 so as to freely roll, a base member 110 provided on the lower part of the outer frame for horizontally rotating and vertically swinging the support brackets connected through a spherical bearing structure 112 and supporting them so as to shift them to a housing position of housing the wheels 130 on the inner part of the outer frame and a using position Cp of projecting them to the rear part of the outer frame, and a locking structure 155 for locking and holding the support brackets 120 supported by the base member 110 at the using position Cp. At the time of locking the support brackets 120 at the using position Cp, the wheels 130 are projected to the rear part of the outer frame 10 and disposed, the wheels 130 are grounded, and rolling transportation in front and back directions is made possible.
