PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor-driven parking brake device capable of preventing a vehicle from moving undeliberately. SOLUTION: The motor-driven parking brake device 1 is to actuate automatically a parking brake of a manual vehicle, whereby the parking brake 19 in disengaged condition is actuated automatically when the vehicle is to be started and a clutch pedal is stamped in. That is, if the vehicle is parking on a slope with the parking brake 19 disengaged, undeliberate movement of the vehicle occurs along with stamping-in of the clutch pedal, but it can be precluded owing to the automatic actuation of the parking brake 19.
