PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for reducing time necessary for committing by a transaction. SOLUTION: The system uses a transaction processing system and a non-disk permanent memory. By committing a transaction by use of the non-disk permanent memory, time related to committing the transaction can be reduced, accordingly, a demand for resources inside the transaction processing system can be reduced, and the throughput of transaction processing can be increased.
