摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive controller of an electric vehicle capable of preventing slip down of a vehicle on a slope and applicable even to an electric vehicle having no brake detection means. SOLUTION: The drive controller of an electric vehicle comprises a means (11) for detecting the r.p.m. of a travel motor (1), a means (42) for calculating acceleration (G) from the r.p.m. of the travel motor, a means (12) for detecting shift position, a means (43) for judging slip down of a vehicle depending on the shift position and acceleration, a means (46) calculating a holding torque (T) for suppressing slip down of the vehicle depending on the acceleration calculated by the acceleration calculating means, a means (45) for calculating acceleration torque (Ta) depending on the accelerator opening (K), and a means (47) for comparing the acceleration torque with the holding torque and selecting any one torque and then calculating a drive torque command (Tc) for the travel motor based on the selected torque.
