PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile communication system or the like capable of suppressing multiple re-transmission while preventing a transmission rate in the unit of data from being decreased. SOLUTION: The mobile communication system is disclosed, wherein a mobile terminal 5 and a terminal 7 opposite to the mobile terminal 5 via a network carry out data transmission/reception through wireless transmission path 2. The sender side terminal includes: a retransmission time storage section 14 for storing a retransmission time for executing retransmission processing by each data unit; and a retransmission control section 11 that controls no execution of the retransmission processing for a data unit in the case that the retransmission time of the data unit related to received retransmission request information is stored and a difference between the retransmission time and a present time is within a retransmission suppression period.
