摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the wear resistance of a work, and to reduce the hostility to a mating material by reducing adhesion wear in the work itself and a counter member to slide with the work by depositing a treatment layer formed of nitride containing molybdenum on a surface layer part of the work with sufficient thickness and high adhesivity. SOLUTION: The work made of Fe (iron) alloy containing Cr (chromium) of≥5 mass% is held in a treatment agent containing one or two kinds of Mo (molybdenum) powder and Mo-based alloy powder, refractory powder, and reaction promoter consisting of halide containing nitrogen, and stirring gas consisting of at least one of inert gas and nitriding gas is introduced in the treatment agent. By heating the treatment agent at a treatment temperature of≤700°C while stirring the treatment agent, a treatment layer containing Fe-Mo nitride consisting of a compound containing Fe, Mo and N (nitrogen) is deposited on the surface layer part of the work.
