CURRENT SENSE AMPLIFIER CIRCUIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems in which a sense amplifier circuit used for a multi-valued nonvolatile memory selects and switches a reference current of a reference cell and requires a considerable time to make a plurality of reads each for switching a current and the state of a readout cell can not correctly be read since the relative precision of the reference current becomes worse due to manufacture variance because of the generation of the reference current of the reference cell from a plurality of different cells.

SOLUTION: A plurality of detection currents are generated from the reference current of one reference cell by using a mirror circuit and comparative decisions on the current of the memory cell and the plurality of detection currents are made at the same time to make stable reads fast without being influenced by the variance of manufacture.
