<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve strength for supporting an image reader. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming device comprises: a front side frame (6) having a front side plate (21) and one side part at the front side supporting members (22 + 42) provided at one side part of the front side plate (21) to support one side part of a front side of the image reader; and a rear side frame (7) having a rear side plate (31), one side part at the rear side supporting member (33) provided at one side part of the rear side plate (31) to support one side part of a rear side of the image reader (IIT), and the other side at the rear side supporting member (32) provided at the other side part being a side part opposite from the one side part of the rear side plate (31) to support the other side part of the rear side of the image reader (IIT) and extend upward from a lower edge part of a paper feeding tray supporting member (9). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
