<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid droplet discharge apparatus capable of effectively inhibiting the clogging or the like of a functional liquid droplet discharge head even if maintenance of an individual carriage unit is carried out separately. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid droplet discharge apparatus is provided with an X-axis table 42 which moves a work W toward the X axis, two or more carriage units with the functional liquid droplet discharge head 72 which performs drawing on the work W in cooperation with the X-axis table 42 and a carriage 75 equipped with the head 72, a maintenance means 46 which carries out the maintenance of each carriage unit separately, a Y-axis table 43 which moves each carriage unit individually, and a flushing box 241, arranged on the movement trajectory of the carriage unit by the Y-axis table 43, which receives discharges ejected from all the functional liquid droplet discharge heads 72 of the two or more carriage units. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
