According to the invention, an open chamber (2) is located on the rear side of a heat-insulating cooling appliance housing (1) surrounding a cooling chamber. A compressor (3) and an evaporation shell (4), which is arranged above the compressor (3) and is used to catch the water condensed in the cooling chamber, are mounted in said open chamber. A plurality of holding devices (11a, 11b) are provided at various heights in the compartment (2), respectively enabling an evaporation shell to be mounted. The holding devices (11a, 11b) and the evaporation shell (4) are allocated complementary codings (17a, 17b, 41) which ensure that a coded shell can only be respectively mounted at a certain height. |
